| Commercial flights are not permitted to take off from or land elsewhere except in cases of real emergency or when special permission has been obtained from the Civil Aviation Administration. The conditions under which aircraft may land and be parked, housed or otherwise dealt with at the aerodrome are listed in GEN 1 and GEN 4 of this AIP |

4. | AIRPORT RESPONSIBILITY AND GENERAL AVAILABILITY |

| The administration of Banjul International Airport is the responsibility of the GCAA, for the maintenance it is the Directorate of Engineering and Maintenance of the GCAA. |
| The aerodrome is available only for use according to the conditions of the Aeronautical Information Package of The Gambia. |
| |
| |
5. | APPROVAL TO USE RNAV (GNSS) PROCEDURES IN THE GAMBIA |
| |
| Specific GNSS National Regulations have been developed and promulgated as the Global Navigation Satellite System Regulations, 2007. Copies of these regulations are available at the Gambia Civil Aviation Authority’s Legal Unit. Contact The Gambia Civil Aviation Authority for further information on IFR Approval to use the GNSS in Gambian airspace. |
